Nancy Berkan has been recognized as a fine artist of the highest calibre.  She has worked in oil, watercolor, gouache, conte, graphite and pastel.  With the latter, Nancy has applied the medium in the technique used by Degas and other masters, using water to engage the material in painterly fashion.  Nancy works mostly on paper, and at a small, intimate scale these days,  She also has earlier works on canvas and, as well, very large scale works.
